Re: Home remedy cure for Bartholin’s Gland cysts/abscesses

Hello, I want to share my experience with this treatment. I have been a long-time sufferer of this beast. I had my first in my late teens. I have had several lanced, had marsupialization, and finally surgery to remove the cyst wall (supposedly). The surgery was in 1993. I was cyst-free for many years, but I would notice a lump occasionally in that spot. It was painless and never changed size, but would come and go over the years. I went on to have two babies and am now mid-way through menopause.

About two weeks ago, I noticed the lump, but it was tender. By the next day, it was full-blown back. It was over the weekend, so I had to endure until I could call my Gyno on Monday. I went in and got re-acquainted with my old "friend" the lance. It drained for about two days with sitz baths and I thought I was done. But yesterday, it was back again! I found this forum and went right out and bought the tea tree oil. I mixed the ingredients exactly as Phoebe described and applied to a cotton ball to the area for 30 mins. It brought relief, but did not drain. I tried again a few hours later, the same treatment. I went to use the bathroom, and... it burst! Such relief! It is almost completely drained now and I will do another treatment today just to be sure. I am shocked this worked, because I have tried every other remedy in the past with no luck. I have never had one burst spontaneously - always had to have it lanced.

I am so grateful to have found this forum, I had to sign up and post my story.
My heart goes out to all of you ladies who are suffering the same as I did and do. I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy!
