Thank you! Well I am back a year later. My original abnormal pap cleared up on it’s own. I had a normal colposcopy and normal pap 6 months after that. I just had another pap 6 months later (a few weeks ago) and it is abnormal again! So now I have to go in for another colposcopy. This is frustrating. I think it’s just he is at a curious age. Sexual images and the like are everywhere so even though you haven’t told him about sex he’s still being exposed to it. Ev, I just got to read those other articles and one of them gave specific homeopathic remedies which was great. My son has more symptoms that indicate he needs Hepar-sulph instead of Pulsatilla. Well good, it sounds like things are coming together for you. That was our belief also that if we needed something done in an emergency then we were all for it. I’m sure the eye drops will be ok, most babies do get them so if you can’t avoid it don’t stress over it. If your baby needs to go to the nursery to be checked out then see if your partner or someone you trust can go also. My adult male cat (8 years) has been vomiting and shaking his head (holding his ears down and scratching at them) since Thursday afternoon. I did take him to the vet Friday morning but they didn’t know what was wrong. The vet gave him 2 shots, Penicillin and a combo of Tagament/Reglan to calm his stomach. I have been plagued with itchy spots for the past couple years and was wondering if you know if there is a particular organ involved with skin conditions? I thought I remember reading it was the liver or kidneys but I could be wrong. What are your thoughts on vaccines for your animals, in particular for cats? I read a couple posts here about it. Is rabies really necessary? I’ve neglected to take my cat to the vet the past 2 years but up until then he has always had his shots every year. We have a 15 month old son whom we have chosen not to vaccinate and so I figured I wouldn’t want to vaccinate my cat as well for similar reasons. Oh my gosh, my cat does this often! It drives me crazy because he leaves big wet spots on the couch. He just licks and licks the same spot over and over. My cat used to suck his tail too......and occassionally he’ll do it now. I’m not sure what brings it on but I think he first started doing it because he was abandoned as a baby and probably feels comforted by it. He’s been fixed for a long time and we’ve had him for about 7 years. We had a baby 15 months ago and that has changed things a lot around here. I don’t hardly spend any time with my cat now. I did take him in for another weight check and he lost a little again but thankfully the peditrician thinks he’s just fine and that he’s just going to be on the slender side. I hear ya! I don’t agree with making all children fit into some chart. Sure there is going to be an average range but I think too much emphasis is put on it. When I took him to the doctor for his 1 year checkup she did say it’s probably his activity level, plus he wasn’t eating that many solids then. So she told me to increase his solids and that we would just monitor his weight. My son is constantly on the go, plus my husband and I are on the slender side. Yes, he does seem satisfied after eating and he is very happy most of the time. :)   [End]

Hey there everyone! It’s been so long since I posted. Anyway, my son who is now 14 months hasn’t been gaining much weight, in fact he loses some then gains it back. He weighs 18 1/2 pounds. His pediatrician has been doing monthly weight checks the last 2 months or so (he had one yesterday and lost an ounce) so she wants us to come back in 2 weeks. I’m not sure what she’s going to say or propose. My son is still nursing but he also eats solids 3 times a day (about 1 and 1/2 jars of food each time).
