Ok, so I've read the book by Blaylock about Excitotoxins a few years ago and initially was gunghoe about avoiding Mono-Sodium-Glutamat (Natrium Glutamat) at all costs. Well I've slacked a bit lately but want to be more vigilant with it. Anyway, I just found out that one of my "healthy" snacks (Annie's Homegrown Cheddar Bunnies) has yeast extract which contains free glutamic acid. I did a quick search and this came up which I thought very interesting especially at the bottom under Manufacturing.....does this mean that bread is essentially autolyzed yeast then????
