Zinc, copper, manganese, chromium

Is there a certain ration one should take zink and copper together or does it not matter due to the high intake of vitamin c?

Can only answer based on the data I know! Usually the answers folk give here is, 'try it out, see how you react'. My notes on VitC of what to watch for when using high doses- 

  • Do not take at the same time as iron, chromium and manganese, because it oxidizes those elements in the gut 
  • at over 500mg doses, you need more copper intake (C increases the absorbtion and use of copper) and it can leech calcium and magnesium (due to toxins being excreted from the kidneys, and calcium and magnesium are the body's buffers when it is handling toxins)

Boron supplementation is the way to prevent magnesium loss, and vitamin K(2) (MK4 and MK7) the way to prevent calcium loss

right now im taking 50 mg of zink-methionine
and 3mg of copper

And how's your reaction to that ratio? Do you get different results when changing the porportions?

Not my collection of data, but someone who's gone and done their homework on it.. 

Read especially the 'shortform on zinc', it explains when too much zinc can be neurotoxic (such as in alzheimer's patients)

The same for manganese and chromium?
Questions on manganese are complex, notes can help you figure what you need to suit your goals 

Chromium is very good, neuroprotectant and helps magnesium get into the cells

Also I read something about parkisonism due to a long trial of taking chlorella.. Have you ever heard about this ? It read that it was due to the manganese content, would supplement of manganese cause more harm? 

Under controlled doses, no. Best to read up on the effects and balances between each mineral and adjust your dosages accordingly- especially make a list of goals for what you want out of your supplementing, go from there? 
The efficacy of chlorella as a supplement fo parkinsonanisim would be problematic,

the absorbtion of minerals from the supplement would be an important factor- how strong is their stomach acid, what is the vitamin D levels (major factor of how well minerals are absorbed), what other medications, treatments, diet, etc, are they on?  

Copper deficiency may be a factor in parkinsonianisim-
'manganese  displaces  copper in sporadic Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease (sCJD).

“ We found a decrease of up to 50% of copper and an increase in manganese of approximately 10-fold in the brain tissues from sCJD subjects ”

Copper intake needs to be increased when taking manganese.
A high zinc intake may indicate needing more copper.. Something about copper allowing neural impulses to travel faster, think copper electrical wiring 



Tweak and see is all I can say on the matter :-)
