I have used vaseline on the buttocks which works both to kill them and stop the itching. The pinworms come out at night to spread their eggs then return. The vaseline makes them...get stuck and not go back supposedly. It also helps with the itching. Make sure to change pjs/underewear and wash every morning - no reusing pjs during this time. This helps to give something do conquer the issue while you are waiting for the parasite cleanse to work. Some have said the vaseline alone done religiously can kill off the pinworms without drugs. I've always used the combo.
