Typified by clusters of small bumps in the skin, usually on the backs of the upper arms, thighs, or bottom, this is a condition that affects as many as 40 percent of adults. don’t worry, it’s not super grose!....but guess what...i fixed it.

I have this. :(
I had no idea what it was until recently (not even my doctor recognized it). I did a search on MSN for my skin problem and found out that I had ”Keratosis Pilaris”. I did more searches for Keratosis Pilaris and found some very good sites on the disorder.

Is it Keratosis Pilaris?? Sounds like it could be, but it’s hard to tell without a photo.

Sunshine, Oil pulling, bowel cleansing, fasting, liver flushing, demodex killing, Sulphur soaps, coconut oil, general moisturising, urea creams, clean diet and a bunch of other things have been said to help with this. It can be tricky to find what works for you.

Keratosis Pilaris / Keratosis Pilaris Rubra Faceii? (you can see them on google)
I have them both real bad for a few years now, the red face all my life, but the keratosis pilaris only started getting real bad when i was about 14. Both my parents had KP to a certain degree, but I have it all over. And I don’t know exactly where the red face part came from, my brother has it too but my parents don’t.
Right now I’m doing acupuncture/tcm, UT, and supplementing, as well as having recently done a complete pharmecudical grade detox. Nothing is helping. Is there anything else I should do?

If your skin is mostly affected, a regular vitamin E supplement, a moisturizing cream (not on the infected area but elsewhere on your body so it can be absorbed and brouhgt to your face) and following the candida protocol for a few months would be my advice to you.
Protocol:

magnesium supplement

Hey everyone. Just for reference, I think the white spots are called “Forcyce Spots,” and they are a type of sebaceous gland. Here’s a small blurb from Wikipedia:
“The sebaceous glands are holocrine found in the skin of mammals. They secrete an oily substance called sebum (Latin, meaning fat or tallow) that is made of fat (lipids) and the debris of dead fat-producing cells. These glands exist in humans throughout the skin except in the palms of the hands and soles of the feet. Sebum acts to protect and waterproof hair and skin, and keep them from becoming dry, brittle, and cracked. It c ...

If you’re suffering from keratosis pilaris, those unsightly red, raised bumps which seem to appear on the tops of your arms whenever your skin’s dry, you’ll probably want to know if there’s any home remedies for improving its appearance. While you can seek treatment from a doctor or your pharmacist, luckily there are several home remedies for keratosis pilaris, all of which cost very little, and which are very easy to administer.
As one of the most common skin conditions in the world, surprisingly dermatologists have failed to find a cure. Caused by an over production of keratin, a ...

Thanks! The white tongue disappeared for the most part after I did that flush, but is still kind of white near the back.
Do you know anything about the relationship between yeast infection and skin? The main reason I started treating my candida was because I have keratosis pilaris and a very red face constantly. I used to get hot facial flushing very easily as well but that has mostly disappeared as I treated the candida. However, I still have keratosis pilaris and red face, and would like to get rid of it. Any advice?

Copied from the Keratosis Pilaris Forum:
”There are three major enzymes found in saliva. α-amylase (EC3.2.1.1). Amylase starts the digestion of starch and lipase fat before the food is even swallowed. It has a pH optima of 7.4”
So shouldn’t this make the fatty acids more available for sublingual absorption since they are being broken down just by the saliva? Do we have anyone around here or in our lives that can answer that?

Your Siblings Probably Have HyperKeratosis Pilaris

I see this every day. Some parents and kids are really freaked out by it. Most of the population has it. It may have an inherited component, and run in families. It has a horrible, bad diagnosis-sounding name, and it is no big deal. I am talking about hyperkeratosis pilaris, of course.

...You need to bring moisture back to your skin. This is what the keratosis pilaris is telling you; and is part of what the eczema has been trying to tell you. In addition, the eczema is saying that you need to restore balance (through nutrition/cleansing) to your immune system; and that you need to remove the toxins that are affecting your immune health.
Regarding the urea creams, I wouldn’t personally use this option as my first choice. Here are some reasons why. Nitrogen, which is a waste product of protein metabolism in humans, is removed from the blood and converted to urea. U ...
