Re: An Experiment

I think the condition of the colon is determined by what goes on higher up in the digestive tract. It seems like it's good to cleanse it, but unless you take care of the organs that actually digest food, the same symptoms just keep coming back. In other words, the toxicity comes from the small intestines where the food is supposed to be digested by the stomach and secretions of the liver and pancreas. The secretions from the stomach, liver, and pancreas also kill uninvited guests. So if you get them working better, everything should straighten up. I have been struggling with chronic fatigue for almost 20 years now, and am just starting to figure out that there are a lot of pieces to the puzzle, and if you don't have all of them, or if you don't do them in semi-order that they need to be done, you can be wasting your time and money.
I am thinking that one specific thing that is missing in doing ACV enemas, is that you are killing the bad bacteria, but are you replacing it with the good bacteria.(If you said that you are taking acidophilus, please excuse this sentence.) Maybe just the fact that there is a shortage of them is causing the gas and bloating. This may just be dealing with the symptoms, but when the symptoms are so annoying, I don't think it's bad to try to relieve them until you get to the root of the problem.
Also, I would like to mention a product that I am taking for leaky gut. It's called Pulsatilla Intestinal Formula by Golden Flower Chinese Herbs. It seems to be helping with the abdominal pain, and according to the literature about it, it actually helps heal the intestinal tract. They also make something called Intestinal Fungus Formula which is excellent for clearing out the candida. I ran out of that, but intend to get more. They also make something for the liver, which they say is the first organ to deal with in the whole mess. Actually, they make a couple of formulas, and since each person is different, I guess you would have to decide which one is right for you. They have one that balances out the liver and the spleen(or pancreas). The only problem is that I don't know if you have to have a practioner get them for you. I took these products about 2 years ago, but didn't get better because my other problems weren't taken care of.
