Thanks for the articles Sharkman. Very interesting and extremely useful in my research!
Something I've been curious about with these types of infections is; would having one of these vector-borne parasites attract more of the gnats/midges? Or maybe could it be that myiasis from an infected gnat causing a sort of hyperparasitism?
It's one of the many pieces to the puzzle that I baffled with. I'm having difficulty finding info on this specific aspect.
