I just want to say that I was able to get a general practitioner to register to do the hair analysis test with trace elements, so I am excited about that.
I believe hair analysis is the best way to get a ball park idea for what is going on at the genetic/bio-energetic level. However, there is an issue with what to do about imbalances. That is really where there is no agreement.
What I can say Trick, is that I have read or tried everything under the sun for a solid year, and I have come to realize that supplements just do not work or work safely when the underlying diet is wrong.
Basically all we are doing is taking high powered pseudo pharmaceutical supplements and herbs that stir around things that the body had done a very, very intricate hard job in the first place to neutralize and sequester within the tissue. The hard sciences have well documented cysts, fibrosis, adenomas, growths, fatty infiltration of the liver, calcification and plaque, osteoporosis.
I am coming to realize that these unrelated physiological processes of the body are all compensation factors to balance the mineral constitution and the pH of the blood and lymphatic system, and ultimately the flora composition of the bowels.
For reasons, I cannot fully describe, because it involves too much biochemistry, and because I am still trying to understand it- some minerals are culled by the body because they are inorganic and some are absorbed correctly in chelated organic form. The equilibrium and energetic qualities of the cells and the liquid of the blood and lymphatics should play a fairly integral part in this.
For months, if not the last two years, I tried to convince myself that my blood, liver, lymphatics, and bones must be rebalanced in mineral composition and pH, and that I contained a clean body. This justification stems from the fact that I had lost 160 lbs and kept it off with out even exercising.
There is some theory that obesity is purely a result of the body storing as much metabolic waste and pollution in lymphatic structures and adipose tissue as a way to keep it out the bones and organs.
Epidemiological data also suggests that as a heart attack victim loses weight, the mortality actually increases initially. If the body does not have the same environmental and dietary cues to trigger weight gain, it is not too far gone to say that those molecules would be situated in the organ tissues. Not a good scenario.
I then realized, that being a normal weight, but suffering from
Chronic-Fatigue-Syndrome and AF, I clearly am not clean at a cellular level. An autistic person is not clean at a cellular level either. If they were, they would be healthy. Correcting the compromised metabolic/lymphatic/bio-energetic/methylation/detoxification systems in people with environmental illnesses seems to be a bit of a misnomer or misconstrued subject.
My theoretical question is, just how many decades worth of accumulated toxins collect into the system of these people? How saturated is the tissue and the blood? At what point can it really be said that one has filtered this out? Especially when the systems meant to keep it from getting re-compromised are inherently malfunctioned.
In some say it seems that it is fundamental genetic damage, or just a shoe throw away from cancer. Cancer in its base abstract sense, if cancer can really be seen for what it is- a body reaction to harsh environmental pollution. That the food you eat is not the enemy, but the tip of the ice burg, or the trail from the leading bullet. Just the straw on the camel's back after an accumulation of whatever constitutes the Houston Channelview Petrol-chemical complex.
It was on this thinking that I began to seriously question the grounds of adrenal fatigue. Adrenal fatigue seems like it is easily synonymous with a systemic form of metabolic disease, once again a baser form of cancer/CFS/lyme disease.
When I stopped eating the diet I used to lose weight, I immediately had more problems. I always justified this change in diet as being "maintenance". Well 2 years later, I am at rock bottom, probably with a liver on the verge of giving out, and a completely autistic-like brain.
What could be in meat and cooked vegetables and almonds that is so severe? Or is it just the lack of raw juices? Or is a more complex answer?
I have read both the GAPS and the SCD diet theory, and I am convinced that the gut flora and leaky gut syndrome are very high on the list of "explaining in grand form" the current environmental diseases. That they are at least the physiological tell-tale form of proof for the unseen environmental chemicals disabling the immune system and the body- leading to the issues in methylation and liver/lymphatic function. It is certainly a vicious cycle, as it reduces the ability to fight off diseases like lyme, directly damages the gut itself, and further poisons the blood and lymphatics, which then indirectly poisons the digestive system.
More and more food only seems to be like throwing more raw product on the assembly line in a factory. I cannot get this analogy or image out of my mind, because it seems to absolutely accurate. I just imagine the end of the line overflowing with product, product spilling off the conveyer belt and overwhelming the busy workers trying frantically and desperately to contend with it.
And then I thought more, what could be so wrong with the body that taking supplements bares no effect? As if the body just does not metabolize things.
To this date I have:
Proven to be immune the thyroid medication, not even getting adverse results.
No effect from hormone supplementation.
No effect from SAM-e.
No effect from doses of herbs that would make a normal person dangerously ill.
Do not gain weight no matter how much I eat.
Never have an appetite.
Sublingual 40 mg of B12 (adenosly/methly) produces no sense of stimulation negative or beneficial. (Who would not feel that?!!)
I joked with my brother, in a perhaps, twisted manner, that I could probably smoke crack and walk it off like it were tap water. Pretty crude, but it gets the message across with how dysfunctional my body is at transporting "stuff" to "places" in my system.
Think about it: My body is doing this to nutrients too.
I have
Chronic-Fatigue-Syndrome and constant other complaints- and I am starved at the cellular level.
It is like the battery on my car is dead.
You find me a diet that can make these medicines regain their potency, make food absorb properly, give me normal reactions to food and medicine-
I will show you something corrects mineral imbalances and cures CFS, gives the body the nutrients it wants at the cellular level, and allows it to repair itself, allows the immune system to kill off whatever strange infection is associated with the illness.
Because of all this, I simply cannot argue with the Gerson Therapy anymore.
I know you have juiced, and juiced a lot Trick, and I know AF says adrenals need protein, but I urge you to strong reconsider what "a lot" of juice is.
I have a gallon of juice I just finished earlier sitting waiting ready to drink in my fridge in the morning. I just finished eating a bunch of junk food, and I plan on it being my last for a good solid six months.
I am going to try and aim for about 1500 calories a day, about 50/50 mix of green vegetable and sweet fruit, roughly 10 different types into each juice mix, ample olive oil, coconut oil, palm oil, hemp oil, and most likely 1 to 2 cans of sardines a day.
I think the trick to this, is to make it through the first 3 weeks of what will be an extreme amount of misery. Volume is key.
Given crucial time, I think that the blood will re-balance and purify and the absorption of supplements will begin to normalize. Some positive momentum will be gained, and these supplements can function as a "jump start" to turbo charge the detoxification process.
I believe the worsening of symptoms is the result of supplements redistributing the poisons into the open resulting in very severe suffering. That is why when using these extremely potent methylaters and adaptogenic herbs, it is best to turbo charge the detoxification herbs. Probably need a couple gallons of water a day, and tremendous amounts of sweating and bathing/showering.
I think the worst mistake I ever made was mixing a diet of cooked food and red meat with herbs like schizandra and cordyceps. Beleive me, the reactions I got were to the point where I was not sure I would wake up in the morning. I stopped taking about 1000 dollars worth of supplements. I had three bags full of supplements.
But after 12 weeks without anything, I can tell that I am doing much, much worse. The need to for a strong "flush" is growing overbearingly clear.
It takes a tremendous amount of nutrients to keep up with a herb driven, detox driven, juice fast. It is very dangerous, I do not doubt that. Expect bad reactions. But compared to chemical chelaters, it has to be the safer option. Granted the chemical chelaters do not even metabolize properly in someone who is not metabolizing anything else.
The period of hell could last from 1 week to 3 week I surmise. But at some point, the crap that has been stirred out into the open, is going to come out of your body. Especially if you are
juicing entire heads of garlic, cilantro, dill, parsley, ginger, etc.
I hear so many warning stories and tales of caution against heavy detoxing or
juicing with those with AF. I am at the point where I say something is wrong fundamentally with the doctrine being put forward.
This is sort of the bio-energetic equivalent of leaping out of a moving vehicle and trying to hit the ground running.
