I think with Shroom's finding of plasma cells in used oil would lead to a conclusion that the nutrients from the oil are definitely entering the system. His system, at least. The presence of plasma cells indicates an exchange. Unless you are injured or unwell, you can't leak lymph without having it be recollected and recirculated into the blood. Of course Shroom has been fighting a parasitic infection for a long time, and that might have affected his results if his mucous membranes were somehow unusually thinned. Can't imagine why that would be, but I guess I have to count it in as a possibility.

However, don't discount magical thinking. Quantum physics has proven the universe does not exist independant of observation (consciousness.) Our collective minds create the reality we inhabit, in no uncertain terms. Think as magically as you wish. :) It won't happen for you if you don't believe it can. All things and all events are first created in the mind. More than anything else, I am trying to teach my children that lesson.
