Re: what does everyone eat on the day of the cleanse?

Rygar,

(hearty chuckling!!) I just re-read my answer and realized I answered it as if you were asking what to eat AFTER the flush. I consider the "flush day" as the last Epsom Salt and then the flushing begins. Now! To answer the original question correctly, on the day of preparation, I usually eat oatmeal for breakfast, drink lots of water and then a salad for lunch - then proceed at 6pm with Epsom Salt and blah, blah, blah. Next flush, I will be taking Epsom Salt capsules. Wild Oats sells the empty capsules so I will make them myself. Okay... now that I got that out of the way... oh yeah, after all flushing is done, then I eat Watermelon as I mentioned above.

You crack up about your comments with the Epsom Salts . Too funny! Well if you remember my first posting to you, I showed you the bodybuilder diet I was following a few summers ago. I'm kinda back on that but only using organic foods and no creatine or artificial shakes. I am now using Ultimate Nutrition Whey Protein which has nothing in it meaning no artificial sweeteners and only whey protein. For the past two days I've been laying off the fruit as I am trying to get a leaner cut look. I dont eat sugary snacks but I know the fruit does as I've been eating way too much of it. I was eating grapes- YEEE-UMMM!, dates, watermelon, apples, and other stuff all day but have cut down now for a while. I will bring those back once I get to where I want in weight. I can tell already these past two days of not eating fruit and cutting down on all food consumption that I finally had a BM today after two days and now feel better. (chuckling!!)

I completely understand your hunger pains so now if I get hungry I've been munching on some almonds or make some green tea to suppress my appetite until the next meal. I bought some organic eggs for breakfast and organic turkey breast for lunch as I want to get the protein for my workouts. Oh yeah and organic chicken and salmon for dinner with veggies.

Okay - that is my update. Take Care man!

That pic of you looks like you have a smokie in your mouth.
