Hi, was reading some archive stuff and spotted this thread about wisdom teeth. Don't know if this is helpful to anyone, but there is a dentist in the uk (an "anti-dentist") if you like, (anti-amalgam, anti-flouride etc) who says just the same thing about nutrition and jaw size. At his clinic he does an alternative kind of retainer for kids (and adults as well i presume) which gradually widens dental arch to accomodate the teeth that previously would have had nowhere to go and would have got pulled. apparently gives you wider smile, better cheekbones, healthier all round. I've never had a wisdom tooth come through, but if they do start i'll be off to see him like a shot! J
