You should read Arnold Ehret's "The Mucusless Diet." He talks a lot about fasting, and says he had seen people die from water fasting. All I've read about it says that one needs to be an experienced faster to attempt it. I never heard about anyone dying from a juice fast, and I HAVE heard, from a couple different sources, from fasting experts, about people dying on a water fast.
