If I keep my liver and bowel clean, and candida under control, I can stay totally clear to the point to where my skin isn't even oily. I do have one more silver mercury Amalgam to get out (doing that this week) and I will detox all the mercury out of my body again. I have a propensity to candida overgrowth (which causes acne), I believe, because of the silver fillings I've had in my mouth. The mercury in silver causes candida overgrowth bigtime....one of the keys to curing your acne, and a lot of people don't even realize it.

You may be sensitive to alcohol...if that's the case, then start with 1/4 to 1/2 a teaspoon and see what happens.
