Re: Hives - Candida die off?

Hi Gary, thanks for your lengthy explanation and lots of information. I still think it's a bit of a mystery, except that I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism at age 30 and that's 23 years ago. I've been taking medication ever since. This last attempt to get my body working again and away from medicines, has led me to understand that Candida can be the underlying cause for hypothryoidism. That aside, I had a bone density scan back at the end of March and was told that I am only a hair's breadth from having osteoporosis in my back despite the fact that I have been taking hefty Calcium supplements since I was 40. I suspect you are right about mineral deficiencies, but the Candida broke out at a time when I was taking big amounts of vitamins and minerals and also juicing raw vegetables and eating dulse plus drinking tons of water which I always do and using Celtic Minerals Sea Salt . Apart from coffee enemas, I do not drink coffee and only herbal teas, not fruit teas. I have not taken any Antibiotics for years and years, probably 10 years, and I have never taken birth control pills. I do however, consume unrefined carbohydrates, brown rice, oatmeal and whole grains. I am not a Sugar person. I have discovered of late that eating oatmeal is not good as it blocks calcium absorbtion. I had been taking calcium supplements in the mornings, along with the oatmeal!!! We live and learn. I think I do have a problem somewhere with absorbtion of minerals, so that cleansing seems to be the place to start. I have done several sessions of Liver Cleansing over the last year and each time I took a course of parasite cleansing first. I really wish I could take a look inside of myself to figure out what is happening. You have probably felt the same if you have had this candida problem for so many years. If it didn't already show in what I said, I am also a vegetarian, I eat some dairy, but no eggs. If I'm dehydrated, it is probably due to not being able to retain water because of mineral deficiencies. What do you think?

I have learned a lot over the last 2 months. Let me know if anything else comes to mind.

Thanks again,
CB
