Re: Garlic is an antifungal

Hi there,

As for your use of garlic, I would recommend pure garlic cloves over the processed, dehydrated stuff. Call me a purist but it's hard for me to say how much of a healing effect that would have.

If you want to take raw garlic, you can take small pieces with LOTS of water about 15-30 before a meal (at least 2 glasses of water!). It's also helpful to take a green powder to coat your stomach before the garlic (like wheatgrass or spirulina) which also helps fight candida.

Other garlic ideas are to chop it up fresh and throw it on your food or eat small pieces while eating. It is a LOT stronger, but I think it is more powerful. I have never felt much healing from the shake=on kind ; )
