Your formula is a little off It's 8oz H2O per drink so that would be 24 oz of water.

I do the Nalgene bottles with sports spouts myself and carry them in a soft cooler with the reusable ice packs. I do 3 bottles a day (9 drinks) and you need to do at least 2 bottles to meet the minimum 6 drinks per day.
