In your personal treatment, you might have been lucky. Alternately, you might have had merely a cutaneous level of infection; there's zero question (in my mind, at this point) that this (the morgellons) is a multifaceted infection that invades and establishes itself at every level--bone, organs, cells, blood, skin, etc.
So your tooth made you sick, but not systemically....as you mentioned prev, you took steps to eliminate infection at many levels before handling the tooth, as I did too.
You can't ignore the fact that you have the rest of your body to lug around....if you didn't have such the awesome dentist, you might have spread the infection systemically. Sticking to your tooth agenda does not help people deal with the consequences of trying your approach. It's essential to look at the entire picture.
