seriphos for 3-4am high cortisol??
I'm still trying to resolve my middle of the night high cortisol level.
I recently did a saliva test. The results were in the normal parameters for the 4 tests during the day and night. However, I also tested once during the night, due to my middle of the night awakenings.
On this particular night, my middle of night saliva test wound up being at 4:15am. The result was a 3.8 cortisol level. The night time range is 0.4-1.0, so my level is obviously pretty high at that time of the morning.
Since the test results, I tried taking Seriphos when I woke up once around 2:30am, and my sleep was non existent, or extremely fragmented the rest of the night. In any case, I was even more exhausted than usual the next morning.
I've also read to take Seriphos before bed, about 4-5 hours before the high cortisol. I've also tried that, but didn't notice much of a difference.
Can anyone offer advice on when I should be taking Seriphos for my middle of the night high cortisol?, or for that matter, is high cortisol at 4:00am normal?
Thanks,
Marc
