I certainly agree that glutathione is valuable but various problems can leave us with less than optimal levels and difficulty producing it:
Toxins such has heavy metals reducing levels.
Messed up methylation cycle.
Lack of B6, sulfur-containing amino acids, vitamin C, glutamine, glycine, etc.
