hmm that's a tough one to answer really. It seems what's happening for me is the cycle is quickening. I get the white patch of dry skin that encompasses the middle portion of my bottom lip (closer to the opening of the mouth but there is healthy skin above it). The white patch eventually turns a yellowish color if I leave it alone and then I'll usually take it off in the shower (at that point it turns gooey and comes off when I rub my lips together). I don't think it will become "waterproof" until the white patch of "dry skin", which acts as a scab of sorts I believe, stops forming completely. As of now it's thinner which makes sense seeing as the speed of my cycles are increasing. Tweet
