Re: starting a water fast

Hi,

I can't fully remember my stats start and finish last time as didn't keep a record, but think I was 11.7 st and went down to 9.13 st, then crashed! Not good, then never regained any healthy rules and eat stuff I shouldn't and didn't exercise. I was a good jogger/runner and was 112 lb (8 st) for a long long time, but have had a hard 5 yrs (no excuse though) and am now 182 lb, so really need to take action. Over the past year I have done 1 - 3 day fasts intermitently, but never stuck to healthy ways, or learn from the process. It's mental strength and a real desire to succeed that I need, and I am hoping that I have got that now???? I work in a college, quite a busy role and have half term next week and will go to our place in france, were I can really relax. If I get through this week I feel that the week in france will really help and I can exercise through walking . jogging out there. This week I will need to go on the exercixe bikes when I get in from work. I'm working on a week by week to try to focus on staying on track, but also need some sense of what the next stage needs to be.

Will I have the energy to do that volume of exercise when I work 12 hrs a day? I have a 1.5 hr drive to and from work on the motorway, so 3 of the 12 are in the car.

Thanks for your help and advice, I have read some of your other posts and find them very helpful.
