Re: Who is responsible for this insanity?..

sanjean,

I'm sorry that you appear to be joining the ranks of Morgellons. It took me a long time before I figured out that Morgellons is just not a missed Parasitic (helminth or protozoa) or fungal infection.

There are several good sites describing Morgellons your could send friends to. Some of that decision would be based on whether your friends have Morgellons or think your crazy when you tell them you have Morgellons.

There seem to be two major manifestations of Morgellons. One displays mostly fibers and the other has few fibers but mostly granules and spheres. I don't know if these are different manifestations of the same pathogen(s) or different pathogens.

First I'd send someone to http://morgellons.org/
next I'd want them to read the Case Study on Morgellons Disease from that site http://morgellons.org/docs/Case_Series.pdf
then to Dr. Wymore's information at OSU http://osu.okstate.edu/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=264&Itemid=90

and his and Dr. Casey's Practitioner Letter (explanatory letter to bring to doctors and other practitioners) http://healthsciences.okstate.edu/morgellons/Joint%20Statement_4.pdf

If I knew then what I know know I would take a copy of both the Case Study and the Practitioner Letter with me when I went to a Physician for help. It would have cut the nonsense.
