I disagree, I witness free will in my own life. I have the choice to live in accordance with high principles, or not. As do you. If I do, it generally inclines people around me to as well, if not it generally inclines them against (though they still have free will also). Unless someone totally abuses their free will, they retain it. IF they abuse it, you witness they lose it: to insanity, overwhelming emotionality, drug addiction, food addiction, other addictions and compulsions, imprisonment, illness, death, disease, etc.
I am not claiming abuse of free will is the sole cause of all the above, but it always seems to be there at the root (at least on someone's part, perhaps not always the victim).
