"Democratic Leader Laughs at the Idea that House Members Would Actually Read Health-Care Bill Before Voting on it"

Washington (CNSNews.com) - House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer (D-Md.) said Tuesday that the health-care reform bill now pending in Congress would garner very few votes if lawmakers actually had to read the entire bill before voting on it.

“If every member pledged to not vote for it if they hadn’t read it in its entirety, I think we would have very few votes,” Hoyer told CNSNews.com at his regular weekly news conference.

Hoyer was responding to a question from CNSNews.com on whether he supported a pledge that asks members of the Congress to read the entire bill before voting on it and also make the full text of the bill available to the public for 72 hours before a vote.

In fact, Hoyer found the idea of the pledge humorous, laughing as he responded to the question. “I’m laughing because a) I don’t know how long this bill is going to be, but it’s going to be a very long bill,” he said.

He does not even intend to read the bill, he and other Con.men simply intend to let the lobbyists for pharma, medical cartels and insurance co.'s write it for them. They will take no time to consider any of the far reaching consequences of their actions on society, they are going to approve it without thought.

The health care reform proposals thus far will be the end of alternative care, as all manners of taxes, money and subsidies will be pumped into the death care system of mainstream medicine. We will not have much private money / energy left to invest in holistic paths to wellness. As the people here know, that means we are doomed. Obama's current proposal involves fining each person who refuses to join the death care insurance system $1000 a year (and receiving nothing in return).

Let them know you want the freedom to pursue your own holistic health path and that you do not want your money to be taxed / inflated to subsidize the misguided death treatments of the irresponsible who will not even attempt to live in accordance with natural law and metaphysical principles.
