i went just for a check up
i was talked into the patch
it almost made me bleed to death and anemic
i was given only option! Mirena
she did not show it to me
i did ask she just said it was small and can be used for 5 years

i did not sign a consent form!
i have learned all about informed consent.
it happened november 04, attempt to remove may 05, its out june 05

i never wanted any kind of birth control, i like condoms, they are the only birth control that protect from germs.

i had seen the nuva ring on a doctors key chain but i would not even take that because i didnt want birth control, she talked me into taking something as back up and she said the patch would regulate my period. yes i wanted my period, other women take pills so they cant have 1 but 4 times a year.
i thought i was being given some kind of nuva ring. i dont know what it feels like when someone pokes the uterus, i dont touch my uterus, i dont do fingers at all. nothing goes there but penis, how would i know what a insertion feels like?

she could have said the bleeding will stop on its own and sent me home. she insisted that i use the mirena to stop the excessive bleeding the ortho evra patch has caused.
