Day 12: In bed with cold

An uneventful day because I stayed in bed most of the time, filling up a carrier bag full of used paper tissues. However towards the end of the day, it was getting better. Thanks to the people who responded yesterday, though I did not get around to using the PC much.

The only think I have to say is that I found my so-called "spring water" contained a high percentage of minerals, so for now I have gone over to filtered tap water, but I am looking for a reasonably priced source of distilled.

I have a few questiona, if anyone can answer them.

Firstly regarding fasting to completion. I assume that this is where you fast until most of your excess fast is used up, so I assume that completion and real hunger will take occur when you are around BMI 20 or something like that. If that is so, then for someone really heavy at the start like me, I have calculated that this will take around 120 days or more. Given the changes required to the cardiovascular system etc, would it perhaps be better to do such a big weight loss in stages?

Secondly everyone tells me that I haven't got a cat in hells chance of becoming slim again at my age (52). Are they wrong? I really want to get down to BMI 20, and maybe follow a calorie restricted diet after that. Or a healthy diet with occasional fasting.

Thirdly I discovered this product , which is described as distilled water, but it is for farm use. When I phoned them to ask if it was suitable for human consumption, they weren't sure, but I was sent a spec sheet. It appears that it is demineralised water, which I know is different to distilled. I assume this is no good?
