Day 20 10 y
Today is my 20th day of the diet. I am very proud of myself and still very determined to complete the 100 days and finally lose the extra weight that I have been carrying for the past 4-5 years. During the past week I ate more fruits and even included some fatty fruits :) like durian, which I knew would slow down the weight loss, but I really needed the energy to work and study.
I weighted myself today and the total loss for the 20 days is 14lb. I got sick yesterday and am still feeling very sick today. Most likely it is a virus, as my daughter is very sick too.

Day 13 10 y
Today my daughter and I spent the day downtown and I did the mistake of not preparing any juice. By 5pm, I got very dehydrated and tired. When I got home, I was craving avocado so badly, so I ate one with a tomato- it felt so good. My stomach however is not happy at all- it feels like it will start hurting any moment.
Tomorrow is my fist day at the gym and hopefully many more will follow. I also sighed up my daughter so I have a buddy to go with :)

Day 12 10 y
Day 12 was a challenge
Day 12 was a hard one- I was very sleepy at work, I could hardly keep my eyes open. I had some juice in the morning, grape at noon and just ate some watermelon for dinner. I checked my weight today- I have lost exactly 10lb. I started to feel the weight loss slightly, my size 16 pants feel loose and I almost fit in size 14:)
Next week I will start exercising- I will go at least twice a week to the gym and will do some exercises at home. I am really determined to lose all 50 pounds before the summer.

Day 8 10 y
Day 8 is hard :(
Today is Day 8. I have lost 8lb so far. The past couple of days were ok, I did no feel hunger or weakness. We had a staff lunch on Friday and I was absolutely fine watching everybody eat delicious food, while drinking my green tea with honey.
On Sunday my daughter (16) and I went skiing- this was fun, I was full with energy, and even skied longer than her (usually I am death tired at the half day point:)
Today I had a little bit harder day. I am not sure if I was too tired from skiing yesterday, or it is due to detoxification, but I was very sleepy and weak.

Day 4 10 y
Day 4 is over :) Hunger is completely gone. I started to feel some slowness in my brain functions- this morning I could not remember the passcode for my office:) Hope it is just due to detoxification processes kicking in.
Today and yesterday I again had the juice of two grapefruits and watermelon. Now that the box of grapefruits is gone I may switch to something else :)
I am in a better mood- for the past two days I did not feel depressed or sad and even my reflection in the mirror does not bother me that much.

Day 2 10 y
Day 2 is over. I feel less hungry and my energy level is fine. One of the reasons why I could not keep up with my previous fasts is because I get very weak and sleepy and am not able to work as efficient as I should be. My brain kind of shuts down :) Hopefully this time it will be better, as the tax season is fast approaching :))
Today, I had again the juice of two grapefruits and a mini watermelon. I have the very bad habit of not drinking water, not at all, and this is why I pick more juicy fruits :)

Day 1 is over- I was so hungry today, especially between 3-5pm, but did not break my fast :) Thinking that I have to write tonight made me stronger. Today I had the juice of two grapefruits diluted 1:1 with water and ate one tiny watermelon for dinner.

40-day juice fast starting tomorrow
I am starting my 40-day juice fast tomorrow. It’s been a long time since my last juice (fruit) fast and I really need support. During the last two years I have gained about 50lb and my goal is to lose it all before this summer.
