I see no details in this study only this quote:
”Garlic has been used in medicine for centuries, and it should be no surprise that it is effective against this very modern infection.”
Be aware that the garlic sold in the supermarket is NOT this garlic:
The common, domesticated garlic created by millennia of selective breeding, sold in supermarket chains, is not the garlic that’s found wild in Nature. And it’s this common, domesticated garlic (Allium sativum) which is used to make the most readily-available garlic supplements – from the so-called “aged garlics,” to the reputedl ...

Hi --
I am not sure I would be able to stomach straight garlic oil. I think you could mix some garlic oil in with another oil to get benefits, or perhaps chop garlic and let it sit in another oil for a while then strain it out and use the infused oil?
You will also get good garlic results just from eating it, and then good antibacterial results from oil pulling, so you can separate the garlic part from the oil part and not miss out on anything if you don’t OP with garlic oil.

I do the way Uny said to...you can get the ”garlic twist” pretty cheaply from amazon. It crushes the garlic super fine and no waste like you get from a garlic press. Then down the crushed garlic with a couple swigs of juice.

The product you mention may have worked for you and yours (which is great!), but it’s certainly not the ONLY form of garlic that’ll do the trick. I’ve successfully rid myself of both MRSA and parasites using raw garlic and garlic tincture. Supposedly ”according to science”, the raw garlic would have had to have been ingested during or after a meal for the allicin to remain stable enough to be of benefit, due to the fact that stomach acid ’deactivates’ allicin. You can also have garlic with protein foods, which will also not alter its effect in your GI tract, in fact, raw/fresh garlic is better consumed with foods than without. Garlic can rightfully be called one of nature’s wonders. It can inhibit and kill bacteria, fungi, parasites, lower blood pressure, blood cholesterol and blood sugar, prevent blood clotting, protect the liver and contains anti-tumor properties. If that wasn’t impressive enough, garlic can also boost the immune system to fight off potential disease and maintain health. Garlic is a broad spectrum antibiotic, killing a wide variety of bacteria. Many pharmaceutical antibiotics kill only a narrow range of these germs. Dr. Tariq Abdullah, a prominent garlic research ...

Re: Will raw Garlic damage the beneficial Flora?
by Hveragerthi 15 y
A lot of substances will kill the flora if in direct contact. This only becomes as issue though if taking the garlic at the same time as you take probiotics. If you are just eating raw garlic then many of the compounds from the garlic will be diluted and absorbed long before it reaches most of the flora.
The reason garlic is said to build the flora is due to the fructooligosaccharide (FOS) component of garlic. FOS is a prebiotic fiber.

The muschroom extract probably doesn’tdo that much to kill the candida directly, but greatly stimlutes the immune system, which then better at keeping the candida under control. I guess raw garlic is probably better at fighting candida than garlic supplements, although an enteric coated garlic supplement may be helpful in getting garlic to lower parts of the digestive system. I guess the garlic does both, stimlute the immune system, and kill candida directly.
