I think its a cash flow issue not an issue of people not caring, selfishness etc... For example, we are a one pay check family with 3 kids and my toddler is in speech therapy. We buy as much organic natural food as we can and its not cheap.We pay so much for gas,food, and AC out here is not cheap as well, and so on and so forth.. So its more of no "means" than not caring. I would donate something just not able to donate enough to make it possible to receive a gift of that nature.
