I do not understand how posting relatively anonymously on a forum enables anyone to have even a bit of power.

I do understand that having people agree with you, being a part of the "in" crowd, and pushing the agree or disagree buttons my give one the "feeling" of power, however it is an illusion to the nth degree.

One may feel gratification, or any number of other feelings, but the attainment and ownership power? Never happens...

The only power we have is over ourselves, period. I have no control over anyone but me.

We may "feel" that we have had some influential "power" when someone takes our direction or health protocols and makes them their own, however again this is but an illusion.

The person that ultimately has the "power" is the one who takes what they have learned as a student and puts it to use for themselves... When they in turn teach another, that "power" is passed on to the next and never retained.

Someone who "hangs" onto what they believe is a secret or proprietary information and then doles it out to whom, when, and how they see fit, or does the same in an effort to make money or to gather a "cult" like following of groupies are the real power mongers. Lots of groups out there like this including Scientology, Masons etc. But then, the power the leaders "think" they have is an illusion made real by those who would fall at their feet, pay, or what-have-you for what they may believe is the truth.

Now feed the people fluoride and lies and get them to go along with your idea of law... that is not in reality power though, it is mind control and another story.
