Re: Wife has Clamydia... HOW?
Chlamydia is one of those diseases which reared its ugly head back during the Korean Conflict and at the time was called "Non-specific Urethritis" because the causative agent wasn't known.
Unlike gonorrhea, it didn't cause the burning during urination which was practically always experienced by the infected male.
This led to many untreated cases and today it is a frequently un-diagnosed sexually transmitted disease.
A tell-tale sign/symptom is a very slight "wetness" at the end of the penis which isn't related to sexual excitement and is persistent rather than periodic. Underwear may be slightly stained by this discharge. Rather than "burning" during urination, there may not be any noticeable discomfort. Normal female vaginal discharges may completely disguise this discharge.
Females and males may unknowingly harbor this disease and spread it to their partners. Rather than search for the transmission source, it is recommended that a medical STD treatment center be visited by both you and your partner and afterward to abstain from being sexually active with other partners.
Chlamydia is rampant amoung sexually active people; probably more-so than any other sexually transmitted disease.
