My late introduction.
It's been suggested that I introduce myself a little more fully. I had a brief introduction back before the Great Forum Crash, but I'll have to repost I guess.
I'm a 26 year old grad student from Southern Alberta in Canada. I grew up on a farm, where I got intimately familiar with pinworms, and also witnessed things like
Tapeworm and roundworm. So I know for a fact that
parasites exist and that Westerners get them. When I first posted here, I suspected quite strongly that I had a tapeworm, and possibly something else. Now, on my second box of ParaGONE, I'm not so sure I have a tapeworm, but I know for a fact I have some other things, unidentified roundworm among them. I've seen them. The roundworm was moving. We've had mice in our house on and off for years, and used to have pets. I also love sushi, and eat rare steaks (Beef only, never any other meat rare. We make sure everything else is well cooked.). Maybe sometimes we're not so good about washing our fruit and veggies. So the vectors are there, I recognize opportunities for infestation in my living habits.
I've been getting results with ParaGONE. I've been a veritable poop factory, having bowel movements just about everytime I sit on the toilet. Stuff's been coming out, some of which I've detailed in the post below looking for identification. However I don't think it's wholly effective. I've noted posts saying that ParaGONE is good pretty much for GI stuff, but it's limited. I'm worried about having
parasites elsewhere, primarily my sinus and eyes. One of the questions I have is how to get rid of infestations that have migrated beyond the GI tract (I do not know how long I have had parasites, it may have been years/all my life or it may have been a fairly recent phenomenon). Do pharmaceutical remedies work on infestations all over the body, or do they contain their action to the GI tract. I've also heard great things about Humaworm, as well as Dr. Schultz (Sp?) IF formulations. Can these be bought offline - I don't like purchasing things online. Better yet, can I get them in major cities in Alberta?
I do know I'm lucky to be Canadian, this country is far less hostile to non-Western medicine than the US is. Our doctors are more familiar with
parasites (especially rural doctors, who quickly learn that these are almost universal human problems), and are often more accepting of alternative measures. Not to mention doctor visits are free, something which enables even low-income Canadians to at least seek medical advice - I can't bear to think of the countless Americans who go on getting sicker and sicker simply because they can't afford the $100 for a simple doctor visit. Sometimes I wonder how many people die from curable illnesses because of that.
Thats a little introduction to Enkagi.
