Re: Is Liver Flush safe with Leaky Gut and Candida? Oh No!
Hi Dylan,
Sorry but no
Liver Flush with leaky gut.
Leaky gut and the inflamation in the intestines it implies allow stuff that would normally pass into the stool to get into the body. The intestinal wall is actaully a protection that will select carefully what is passing into the bloodstream.
While doing a
Liver Flush you are flushing out a lot of junk... you want it out, not back into your body which is really counterproductive.
With leaky gut you should do
coffee enemas (and avoid other enemas) some people even say that you should avoid supplementing in friendly bacteria (probiotics)because they are very helpful in the gut, but rahter harmful in the body itself.
Here is a great post by Stannarad on leaky gut:

At this point, following the diet and healing the inflamation of the gut is the priority.
You should suppl. in
Magnesium (plenty) and vitamin B complex
Antioxydants: zinc, vit C 500mg x4/day, vit. E, selenium, vit A (cod liver oil)
Omega 3 : extra virgin olive oil, fish oil
Lecithin
In my opinion you should first heal the leak, second do the P & B shakes and only then do the
Liver Flushes (which are indeed really helpful).
Your Flush
Dark circle around the eyes is a sign that your liver is really struggling, so it seems that the flush has made life more difficult for your liver rather than help.
Let's face it, the
Liver Cleanses the blood. With the leaky gut plenty of toxins and bacteria that would normally remain in the intestines get access to the bloodstream, the liver must take care of that mess and it is a great weight for it... it is already overworked with candida, it does not need the extra work due to the flush.
Liver Flush are not the solution yet. Be aware that
coffee enemas are just FANTASTIC for both leaky gut and the liver.
There is absolutely NO PROBLEM in doing an enema a day (although it is time consuming), it is really helpful for your liver and thus to reduce toxicity.
Bowel cleanse
Candida is drilling into the intestinal walls. Many people use
Oxypowder to cleanse the bowel with the result that they cleanse everything BUT candida. Psyllium is great in that it will adhere tothe candida threads and drag them out.
Still you are not there yet, first you must ease the leak.
