I have a benign meningioma in the left CP angle (where the inner ear opens into the brain stem area). It hasn't grown in two years (I have an MRI every six months) but does cause symptoms: spacey-head feeling, ringing in that ear. If it does eventually grow, I'll have to have it gamma knifed or have it surgically removed. Either can be tricky given the location.
Is there something I can do in the meantime to help it shrink or stop it from growing in the future? I used to take wobenzym but feel it's burning my stomach now. Whatever I take, it needs to cross the blood-brain barrier but also:
1. NOT cause more blood flow to the brain (because this will feed the tumour)
2. can't be a hormonal stimulant (as menigiomas may have hormone receptors).
