Re: Day 7 Coming to a close and here comes the H/A!

The emotional highs and lows are not the kind we
are talking about here...ggg. I would consider
watching tv commercials a real low relative to
thinking, dang those commercials are effective...
I want some of that~~!

After the first 4-5 days I was never tempted to
really eat since I read enough horror stories in
the archives to really make that not an option so
being around food after that was easy. I will
admit to licking a corn chip once...ggg.

The physical detox though can kick your bum and hard
and if you cleanse for long enough, there are distinctive
highs and lows. Certainly the highs are when you are
boinging around feeling like you are on top of the world.
The lows, you want to go hiberate and have the room dark
and the phone turned off and even the slightest noise
makes you feel annoyed...ggg. Fortunately, those moments
are fleeting and a seasoned faster will begin running a
tub of water or fix themselves a foot bath or cup of tea
the moment the tide changes. Still progress albeit at a
low is progress and our mantra here is "better out than in".
