Re: sad little rescue dog

Hi!

First I want to say how wonderful of you it was to rescue such a little sweetie!

I have some advice for you.

This may sound extreme but it works, I have multiple dogs and rescue animals in need when I have room. I use these therapies on all of them and they work miracles.

First, for her back, put her in the tub and with a hand sprayer, spray the affected area on her back starting with warm water, after a minute switch it to cool, do this for a minute then switch back but this time make it as hot as you can stand it without burning yourself, after another minute, turn the hot water completely off so that it is only cold water. Continue this for 7-10 repetitions (about 15 minutes). If she cannot handle a whole minute on cold build up to it, but the back and forth between hot and cold will get the blood to the affected area and she will be feeling better in no time at all.

Do this at least once a day, three times is ideal.

After the "hydrotherapy" end on warm and massage in some "Deep Tissue Oil" from the American Botanical Pharmacy, http://www.800herbdoc.com or call 1-800-herb-doc

My great dane ripped her cruciate ligament and the vet said it was impossible to heal without surgery. I declined and did exactly what I just told you but on her knee and within a month she was running around and the joint was completely stable.

As for the bladder issues, order the kidney bladder formula, detox formula and the kidney tea from the same company I listed above. Let me know when you get it and I will tell you the best way to get a dog to drink the tea and what dose of the formulas to give. I have used it on my animals many times with great success.

Also get a bottle of their "superfood" to get some nutrients into her. As for the food, home-cooked is best. Lots of veggies, and sprinkle a teaspoon of superfood on it and they'll eat just about anything. Little and often is best, we want to get that weight off of her asap. That in itself must be very stressful on her back.

Visit the Dr. Schulze Forum on curezone, it's mostly about people but all this stuff works even better on animals.

Email me if you have any questions!
