carbon economy ousted oxygen therapies??

I'm not sure I'm on the right forum. I remember someone posting a message about H2O2 (Hydrogen-Peroxid) and other oxygen therapies falling from favour, because lots of new drugs were being produced from petrochem bases, and the oil companies and drug companies put pressure on the government, and gave doctors incentives to use these oil-based therapies instead.
Does anybody else remember this thread and can help me find it - or recap on it? I want to find out more for a friend's book on hydrogen-based economies
