Re: HCL question

Hi WV,

I have low HCL myself. You might want to experiment with enzyme supplementation. Right now I'm taking Q-zyme which seems to help. Though if you eat a significant amount of protein or fats Betaine HCL will probably be the most effective for you. In terms of diet, you can try eating and drinking at separate times during the day. Perhaps drinking an hour after each meal, as water will dilute stomach acid. I'm becoming more interested in raw foods, as these retain the most enzymes and should be easiest to digest. Finally, a colon or liver cleanse might help in re-shaping your GI system to work more efficiently for you.

Free feel to email if you'd like to talk more.

Take Care

Patricia
