Night shade plants and modified vegetables and the such are not the best choices, but eaten raw fresh out of the garden will give value. Cooked past 120 degrees they all turn to acid waste products.
I grew up on garden foods and I changed my garden over to fruit and berry trees/bushes, straw berries, etc. a few years back. As long as the food is not over cooked to the point of changing the atom structure and chewed well, it is better that most will ever try. The standard is to use pH paper and check as you eat certain foods, ph paper never lies.
If the food you eat causes stomach acid to show on your urine or saliva, you need to change habit.
