i hear that but it is easy to say. i dont think people understand the full implications of such a statement. for one thing, they act like god can be anything they want. he is not. and he is real. and we do have his word. so to invoke god in any sense is to invoke his word. that or it is not really god we are talking about but an idol - a false image of god. much of that goes on, particularly in the christian religions.
