On the Maricle II, I don't know anything about it, but I saw some online at http://www.azurestandard.com while doing some shopping today. Is it laundry soap? I've got a pretty dang good recipe for laundry soap in my blog (Windows of agates and gates of carbuncles) if you want to try making it, it's only 3 ingrediants. :) You might try http://www.vitaglo.com, but definitely look at Azure Standard, they list the ingredients and such, and have a really good base of organics and bulk foods at good prices.

I like the rubber boots idea! I know a couple of people with athletes foot, and I might make them try it. :/
