You are right. You are not a chiropractor and have never been hurt by one. Case studies are not valid evidence to support FDA approval. There is evidence that supports ligament instability from long term treatment. No chiropractor will tell you this. Anyone that comes into the office will receive manipulations. Would you receive heart surgery if you did not need it? No, but you sure as hell will receive manipulations even if you do not need them. And by the way, victims families in Canada are trying to get manipulations of C1-2 banned due to the number of deaths and paralyzation incidents that have occurred. I would suggest you speak with someone that has been seriously injured. Oh by the way I was and I am in pain 24/7 from a spinal injury when I went in for headaches.
