EMF problems - my story (continued from before)
Re: EMF (electromagnetic) sensitivity
This may be of interest to Spirit & Lapis who had responded to previous posts of mine on this topic. Here's one of those posts, with the continuation of the saga (and its resolution) below.

...AND ITS RESOLUTION:
well, a couple of months ago, I purchased an LCD flat-panel monitor to the tune of about $300, because people were advising me that flat-panels are less problematic for people with sensitivity to EMFs (electromagnetic fields). But I wound up with worse problems than ever before, to the extent I'd feel drained and dizzy, as well as achy teeth, bone pain, and stabbing abdominal pains as if my innards were being devoured. So on a hunch, I decided to experiment for awhile with my old spare CRT from the 1980's. What a difference! I started feeling somewhat human again! For one thing, this monitor has a smaller screen area, thus perhaps less EMFs, but I think the REAL CRUX of the problem had been PHOTOSENSITIVITY, MUCH MORE THAN EMF SENSITIVITY! See, I wasn't able to adjust the newfangled LCD to be very dim, whereas this old CRT is very adjustable (via dial-knobs) to the point of near darkness. Another possibility, is that a dimmer screen may emit less EMFs. Whatever the case may be, this is a prime example of how newer isn't always better...
I dread the day that this good 'ole faithful conks out on me. Will I be able to find a replacement? Meanwhile my $300 "highly-touted" flat-panel is just laying around gathering dust.
