No mention of "professional thieves" in the neighborhood.

Americans are so spoiled. Our bureaucrats have only a fraction of the corruption of every other nation on Earth, and our pork barrel politics don't take place behind closed doors. Thank our free press for that. Nobody mentioned any "professional thieves" in the neighborhood! The highest likelihood is that the vaults, which were not forced open, were looted by the administrators, people who knew how to gain unforced entry.

Our American legal system has lots of protections for the return of stolen artwork. No problem there. If any of this stuff shows up, it will be seized and returned, and fines and possible jail time levied. Now quit being a whiner and go buy an original artwork from some starving artist. Put your money where your mouth is.
