Why do people gain weight when their liver goes downhill???

The other night I worked a really ritzy surprise birthday party at the Radisson (it's the original hotel) for the owners son, who was turning 40.

They made it into a really big deal because he almost died this past year of liver problems. He fortunately got a liver transplant (because he is richer than the other people in line for it who may have needed it more no doubt).

Ever since the transplant, he has been gaining and gaining and gaining weight. The guy is HUGE now, and we saw pictures of his younger and pre-transplant years and they were much slimmer.

So why do you think this is happening? Is it because his liver isn't dealing with toxins very well and causing his body to pile on the weight for survival purpouses? Or is it because his liver can't burn fat like a healthy liver?

(I have to admit, this guy didn't hold back at all when the desert was served however.)

It scares me because I eat sooooo healthy. Nothing but organic veggies, poultry, nuts, olive and virgin coconut oil with whole grain only a couple times a week. I do yoga everyday. But I keep gaining and gaining and gaining no matter what. In fact, the less I eat, the FASTER I gain.

I fear being obese like this man. I've been a tiny thing all my life. It scares the crap out of me. I am taking my schultze LGB formula and detox formula and flushing every two weeks, but after four months I am still waiting for some sign of improvement. I think when I am not taking the LGB formula I can tolerate grains a bit better, but am still sensitive.

I was diagnosed with fatty liver so I supposed you have to feel worse before you can feel better in this situation??? Andreas said this.

Anyway, I know there a billion reasons why the body puts on weight when the liver doesn't function properly. I just wish I could look inside my own liver and SEE for myself that all my hard work is paying off!
