Coming off the MC - third time around
Hi all,
I thought I would share about how I came off the
Master-Cleanse this time, my third 10-day MC.
Very early Sunday morning (around 1 a.m.) I had a glass on freshly squeezed orange juice on ice. I then drank two more glasses of freshly squeezed orange juice Sunday morning - Sunday afternoon. Around 3 pm I had a strawberry banana smoothie. Sunday night I had some raw veggies and some bread. I also ate some raw almonds. I had a BM this morning with no problem and did not feel sick or nauseous at all.
This morning (second day off MC) I had one banana for breakfast, and for lunch I had a veggie hoagie (italian bread with raw vegetables). I feel fine!
I truly believe drinking the OJ early Sunday and sunday morning/afternoon helped to transition. I also believe my body is sort of getting used to this and isn't reacting as strongly as it did when I came off my first two MC's.
On a side note, I am not sure how much weight I lost. I got my period halfway through and that always messes up my weight. I know I lost at least five
pounds though, maybe more.
I feel great and plan to do this again, I hope for 20 days, in June. Good luck to all my fellow cleansers!
