to answer your question:
doing this parasite cleanse, I just "trust the process", and I don't spend time trying to figure out if I am seeing parasites or bits of undigested food that might look like parasites, etc. But in this case, sorry for the graphic description, that Ascaris was the only thing I passed. So there was no mistaking it. it came out alone. Thankfully, it was not alive although looking back i wonder if some disturbance and fluttering in my abdomen was that critter in its last hours.
