"Often" when we demonize others...
In the first instance, Nobody's on trial here...
certainly not me.
Your well meaning advice assumes (passive aggression)
that I am of the closed mind and indeed would need to
look within myself...it assumes that I don't have a
"considered" opinion...methinks you are rather presumptious.
I refer you to mr MH's ramblings on the
Zapper Forum ...look
for the logic and reasoning or lack thereof...It would seem
to betray his skewed vision of alternative (progressive) health care, regardless of his motives.
He may indeed have helped a lot of people...but so has Donald
Rumsfeld...he's turned them away from
Sugar (ref-aspartame).
And Iago with his "well intentioned" whispers turned Othello
off his wife.
Yes...I agree..."often when we demonize other people
it is a part of ourself that we are struggling with,
projected onto the outside. Maybe a doubt or fear."
& by the same token, often the interlopers hoist
themselves by their own petard.
"A little introspection sometimes yeields startling
realizations".
Yes, indeed...
and a little outrospection sometimes guards against
sophistry.
We should conclude now because I have no desire to
further this debate into Reductio ad absurdum.
Kind Regards,
Tom
