Re: How do you know this works?
Wow, $4.50 per candle is exceptionally steep although it does not surprise me given the type of source you have been buying at.
You may want to at least read about this source:
http://www.relfe.com/ear_candles.html
Somewhat of an interesting aspect of this site - you need to read / scroll through all the introductory ear candling info before getting to the sales info at the very bottom of the page. You'll also find quite a few other topics at this web site which I personally have not read and FWIW, I've seen other people comment and review Stephanie Relfe all across the scale from positive to negative. Again, I can't comment, but I do know she provides very good quality ear candles.
There are two different size candles (diameter) - 1/2 inch, and 5/8 inch, both are the same length (about 12 inches) and both come in packs of 10, the former $14.75 per pack, the latter $17.90. The first pack I used was the smaller, but have been using the larger since. These are 50% bees-wax, 50% cheesecloth. If you have exceptionally tiny ear canals (I'm not even sure if there is a standard or common way for people to know or measure this, but I consider my canals typical male sized if this helps any), you may want to stay with the 1/2
inch size, but if you can afford, you may want to try a pack of each and judge the effectiveness for yourself.
Good luck.
